Vintage BlueBill Drake Duck decoy, Wood, Havre de Grace MD, Robert Lynch, 1990.

Description

Here we have a very nice bird; a Blue Bill Hen duck hunting decoy, made by Robert M. Lynch (born 1934- ? -- Great-Grand-Son of Taylor Boyd), of Perryville Maryland, across the Susquehanna River from Havre de Grace.  Signed and dated 1990, a birthday gift for his son Jesse.  Also stamped into the belly and the weight are letters "R"  and "L".  It is a working decoy; solid wood, with painted eyes.  With all original hardware below.
The Blue Bill is in excellent shelf-used condition, with rubs and scuffs to paint appropriate to its age and life.  See photos for the full picture.
