Rustic Decor Carved & Hand-Painted Large Wood Loon Decoy 18-19" signed L Dyer

Description

Beautiful large solid carved & hand-painted wood loon decoy, with bright glass eyes, carved by L. Dyer (signature on bottom, no date). Would be a gorgeous addition to someone's living space! Stands approximately 7" high at high, and between 18"-19" long (a bit tricky to measure!). Painted beautifully - note the wonderful detailing of different feather patterns. The head is painted with a slightly iridescent paint that, in the light, has a slight greenish cast. Not bright green like a mallard, but definitely not straight black!
Overall in very good condition for a vintage item, but please note the following cosmetic issues, and see photos to see what you're getting:
-Paint wear on very tip of bill (I think this could easily be touched up, if you were so inclined - I did not want to do it)
-White chest is a bit dingy (could probably be easily cleaned - I did not try)
-Tiny dent on one feather (there's a photo of my finger pointing to it so you can see, it's quite small)
-A few specks (literally, miniscule) of wear on top/side of head
