    Description

    Early 1900's Peep shorebird hunting decoy, maker unknown to me. In old worn paint and good structural condition with gunning wear, the bill is not original and a later replacement.  Peep pie was featured on restaurant menus in the late 1800's and early 1900's and they were gunned for that market until outlawed in 1918. Neat old hunting collectible from the glory days of shorebird hunting. A
